WHERE THE WATER FLOWS…(afternoon) in English 7.5 km

The Sonian Forest is famous for its majestic trees, but water has also shaped its landscape. This walk follows some of its ponds and streams, revealing a quiet and enchanting side of the forest.

We will start by discovering the Ponds of the Drowned Children (Étangs des Enfants Noyés) and its legend.  We will then follow this beautiful chain of ponds linked by the Karregat stream. The site is a protected wetland, rich in aquatic plants and wildlife.

A gentle and curious walk centred on water, trees and the stories hidden in the landscape with plenty of time to stop, breathe, observe and enjoy.
